White Playground is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our development team as a DevOps Engineer. The individual should be highly self-driven and willing to learn new technology, as we build our solutions on the latest technology and industry-leading practices.

We are open to offering visa sponsorships, but we are looking for someone who is currently located in Korea.

Role/Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients and provide quality support for clients

• Manage and resolve client problems and hot issues

• Establish problem specifications and system designs by collaborating with clients

• Analyze and diagnose issues and provide client-focused solutions

• Use Unix Shell and Linux BashShell to create and maintain scripts

• Maintain KVM, VMware, HPVM, and PowerVM virtualization infrastructure

• Install and administer servers on a LAN

• Set up NAS data protection by setting up optimal RAID levels

• Install and configure DHCP, DNS (BIND), web (Apache, Nginx, IIS), middleware (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic), and mail

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related field

• DevOps related certifications, such as in Linux or VMware

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (plus)

• Linux: Redhat, CentOS

• Virtualization: VMWare ESXi

• Database: MS SQL server, Oracle, MongoDB

• Scripting: Bash Shell, PowerShell. Python/Ruby is a plus

• Web server: Apache, Nginx, IIS

• Application server: Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD
